Role Description
This is a full-time executive role for a Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with an investment focus at CulturTap Genie. The CTO will be responsible for defining and executing the technology vision, software architecture, IT strategy, and end-to-end product development. You will drive both technical and business planning, oversee project management, and lead a high-performing team to align engineering execution with core organisational objectives.

Your First Challenge: Within your first 90 days, you will deliver a production-ready revamp of our customer application and establish a highly scalable, handover-ready engineering foundation.
Additional Platform Ownership: You will also hold complete technical ownership over the Vendor Application, the company Website, and our B2B Management Tools.
Qualifications:
- The Ultimate Builder: A die-hard coder and product expert who understands data inside and out, with a deep mastery of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
- The Startup DNA: A core hustler, out-of-the-box thinker, and true entrepreneur at heart who thrives in fast-paced startup ecosystems.
- Proven Leadership: 8+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles, managing teams and driving technical strategy.
- Industry Experience: A strong background or prior experience in the Startup, Retail, or E-commerce industries is highly preferred.
- Educational Foundation: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
