Looking for a Senior Manager – Industrial Engineering & Operational Excellence in the Cargo Aviation Ecosystem
New Delhi | Industrial Engineering Graduate + Master's in Supply Chain/Operations/Business Analytics | 12–15 Years of relevant experience
We are looking for an operational powerhouse who can turn complexity into efficiency — and drive real, measurable impact on the ground at one of the country's busiest cargo terminals.
As a Senior Manager, you will sit at the intersection of process, technology, and operations — owning the systems, standards, and regulatory relationships that keep our cargo terminal running at peak performance.
What You'll Own:
· Lead process design, time & motion studies, and productivity benchmarking across import/export, build-up, breakdown, storage & dispatch operations
· Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to cut waste and drive turnaround
· Design and optimize warehouse layouts, cargo flow, ULD handling, and capacity models based on volume & flight schedules
· Own KPI dashboards & MIS reporting on throughput, dwell time, cost per ton, and resource utilization
· Develop scientific manpower and shift-planning models to optimize workforce productivity
· Drive automation, digitalization & WMS/cargo-system integration, including paperless operations
· Partner with Operations, Quality, and Compliance teams on SOP development and enforcement
· Support internal audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance across cargo functions
· Drive policy advocacy and regulatory compliance on operations-related matters, including liaisoning with government and regulatory bodies (Airport Operator, Customs & Regulatory Authorities) to resolve operational issues

What We're Looking For:
🔹 Strong command of Lean, Six Sigma & Process Optimization
🔹 Proven capacity planning and warehouse/layout design capability
🔹 Working knowledge of IATA Regulations, Customs & Regulatory Law, and Special Cargo Handling
🔹 Experience in policy advocacy, regulatory liaisoning, and engagement with government/airport authorities on operational matters
🔹 Proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel)
Education:
🎓 Engineering Graduate in Industrial Engineering (compulsory)
🎓 Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business Analytics (compulsory)
🎓 Lean Six Sigma, APICS CSCP/CPIM, PMP, or Data Analytics certifications (highly desirable)
