Role Description The Junior Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role involves supporting senior management in overseeing daily operations, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The Junior Manager will assist in managing teams on the shop floor, monitoring inventory levels, and facilitating communication between departments such as production, procurement, and sales. Responsibilities include preparing basic reports, tracking performance metrics, supporting process improvements, and addressing operational issues in a timely manner. The position also requires active participation in meetings, implementation of standard operating procedures, and collaboration to maintain efficient workflows.
Qualifications
- Operational and coordination skills: ability to support production planning, manage daily workflows, and coordinate between teams.
- Quality and safety awareness: understanding of basic manufacturing quality standards, safety practices, and compliance requirements.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: clear written and verbal communication, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and frontline staff.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: capacity to interpret basic data, track metrics, and propose practical solutions to operational issues.
- Organizational skills: attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or plant coordination is an advantage.
- Technical familiarity: basic understanding of electrical products or consumer appliances is beneficial.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word) and comfort with reporting tools.
- Willingness to work on-site in New Delhi and be present on the shop floor as operational needs require.
