Job Title: General Manager – Civil
📍 Location: Bangalore- Yehalanka n Horamavu
🕒 Experience Required: Minimum 18-20 Years

Salary: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month
Job Summary:
The General Manager – Civil will be responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end construction and infrastructure development for large-scale real estate projects. This leadership role involves strategic planning, execution oversight, cost control, and stakeholder management to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
🏗️ Strategic Project Oversight
- Lead multiple civil construction projects from concept to completion.
- Define execution strategies aligned with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and quality parameters.
📋 Planning & Execution
- Approve master project plans, budgets, BOQs, and execution timelines.
- Guide and support project teams in detailed planning and sequencing of construction activities.
- Ensure alignment with architectural and structural designs.
🔍 Quality, Safety & Risk Control
- Implement robust QA/QC and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies across sites.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays or rework.
- Conduct project audits, quality reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
🤝 Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, site heads, and support staff.
- Coordinate with design consultants, government bodies, vendors, and internal departments.
- Facilitate team development and succession planning.
💰 Budgeting & Cost Management
- Monitor project costs and initiate corrective actions in case of overruns.
- Evaluate vendor bills, change orders, and approve contractor milestones.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs.
📞 Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Represent the civil function in client meetings and presentations.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and board-level stakeholders.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in large-scale residential/commercial/infrastructure construction
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of construction management software (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
Qualifications:
🎓 B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
🎓 M.E. / M.Tech / MBA (preferred)
📜 PMP or equivalent project management certification (added advantage)
