Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at KingsClub in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations across all club facilities, including food and beverage, sports and recreation, health and fitness, events, and member services. The General Manager will manage and mentor staff, ensure high service standards, monitor budgets, and drive operational efficiency and safety. In addition, the role includes developing and implementing member engagement initiatives, coordinating events, handling escalated member concerns, and maintaining vendor and partner relationships. The General Manager will work closely with ownership or the governing committee to align operational plans with the club’s strategic objectives and reputation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, club management, or facility operations, preferably in a social club, hotel, resort, or recreational center.
- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills, with the ability to supervise diverse operational teams.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control, with comfort using management and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, with a focus on member satisfaction and retention.
- Ability to plan and oversee events, programming, and activities that enhance member engagement and optimize use of amenities.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to hospitality, sports, and wellness facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a hands-on, on-site management approach.
