Job details:
Software Test Engineer responsible for ensuring software quality, functionality, and reliability across applications and systems. Role focuses on executing test strategies, identifying defects, validating product performance, and supporting high-quality software releases in fast-paced engineering environments.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with development and product teams throughout the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and testing scenarios across applications and systems
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and validate features
- Validate APIs, backend systems, and application workflows where required
- Support automation initiatives and improve overall test coverage
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release activities
- Troubleshoot application issues and verify bug fixes before deployment
- Maintain testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards and user expectations

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles
Preferred Background
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Understanding of performance, security, or load testing practices is an advantage
