About the Role
An Engineering company is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to enhance our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge applications within the fintech sector. What You'll Do
- Design and implement comprehensive manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
- Evaluate end-to-end workflows for various account opening and verification processes.
- Validate the functionalities of the Order Management System, including key trading operations.
- Conduct API testing using industry-standard tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Perform various testing types including functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and smoke testing.
- Assess database records through SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL queries for accuracy.
- Document and track defects meticulously using JIRA or similar platforms.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Demonstrable knowledge in stock broking, trading platforms, or fintech products is highly desirable.
- Strong grasp of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium is essential.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST clients is required.
- Solid understanding of SQL for validating and querying databases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA is necessary.
- Experience in testing mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with stock broking platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter would be beneficial.
- Exposure to security testing and monitoring in production environments is a plus.
