Seeking a Dynamic Quality Assurance Engineer for a Consulting firm in Bengaluru!
Job Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and
performance testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to define acceptance criteria and
clarify requirements.
• Create comprehensive test plans and ensure they align with project timelines and quality goals.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Ensure test automation coverage and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress,Playwright).
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with engineering teams for timely resolution.
• Monitor quality metrics and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and techniques to continuously improve QA processes.
Job Requirements
• 2–4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in API testing and related tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices using tools like Cucumber.
