Why We're Hiring
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level QA Engineer with more than five years of software quality assurance experience to support mission-critical fraud prevention systems. This role involves driving comprehensive testing activities to ensure accounts and transactions remain protected from fraudulent activity in real time.
Responsibilities
- Perform QA activities including test planning, test analysis, execution, validation, and reporting.
- Ensure high product quality and prevent production incidents.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks and test scripts.
- Increase development efficiency through test automation.
- Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and collaboration sessions with global and cross-functional teams.
- Support the quality assurance process throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing of web applications.
- 3+ years of experience testing microservices-based systems.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership and independently resolve complex issues.
- Fast learner with a proactive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing message-based systems such as Kafka or Event Hubs.
- Familiarity with gRPC and GraphQL.
- Experience working with databases and infrastructure technologies including:
- Elasticsearch
- OpenSearch
- MySQL
- Cassandra
- Redis
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Cucumber
- Programming skills in one or more of the following:
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript
- Golang
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Ability to manage testing activities across the full testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis through final sign-off.
- ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
- Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools such as:
- Gatling
- Kafka
- Grafana
