Role Description
This full-time Video Editor role at HubHawks is an on-site position based in Gurugram. The Video Editor will create, edit, and refine video content that promotes books, authors, and campaigns across digital channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying transitions, effects, and colour grading, as well as integrating motion graphics and static graphics to enhance visual storytelling. The role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and content teams to understand project goals, adapt video assets for multiple platforms, and ensure brand consistency. The Video Editor will also manage video file organization, maintain quality standards, and meet deadlines for ongoing campaigns and special projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for marketing and promotional content.
- Should know AI generative tools, and should have experience in working on Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency in Video Colour Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance storytelling.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
- Hands-on expertise with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Attention to detail, strong sense of visual composition, and understanding of pacing for social media and digital platforms.
- Relevant education or training in film, multimedia, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in publishing, book marketing, or creative agencies is an advantage.
