Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Delhi. The Video Editor will work closely with the content creator to edit and produce engaging videos that highlight global wholesale markets, sourcing processes, and shopping experiences. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing raw footage, assembling sequences, adding motion graphics and titles, adjusting audio levels, and performing color correction to deliver polished content suitable for YouTube and social media platforms. The role also involves collaborating on video concepts, optimizing content for different formats, maintaining brand consistency, and managing file organization and backups. The Video Editor is expected to meet publishing deadlines, stay updated on editing trends, and suggest creative improvements to enhance viewer engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end creation of digital video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic Graphics to ensure visual consistency and appealing on-screen design.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and title animations to create engaging intros, transitions, and explainer elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of YouTube and social media video formats.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, collaborate effectively with a small creative team, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Previous experience editing educational, travel, or business-focused video content is preferred; a portfolio or show reel is required.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory if skills are demonstrated.
