Role Overview As a UI/UX Designer at MyTyles, you will be responsible for designing and improving the user experience across our customer-facing website and internal business applications. You will work closely with the product, technology, marketing, SEO, operations, and business teams to understand requirements, identify user problems, create user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity designs, and ensure that the final product is simple, consistent and easy to use. This role requires someone who can balance good visual design, usability, ecommerce conversion and practical business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and improve the MyTyles ecommerce website across desktop, tablet and mobile, including category pages, product pages, search, filters, navigation, enquiry, cart and checkout journeys.
● Design intuitive internal applications and operational tools for product, inventory, pricing, orders, CRM, sales, marketing and reporting workflows.
● Understand customer and internal team requirements and translate them into user journeys, flows and simple UX solutions.
● Create wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes using Figma.
● Build and maintain a consistent MyTyles Design System with reusable components, typography, colours, forms, tables, navigation and interaction patterns.
● Identify usability issues and improve product discovery, customer journeys, mobile experience and conversion.
● Work closely with product, technology, marketing, SEO and operations teams to balance user experience with business requirements.
● Collaborate with developers during implementation, provide clear design specifications and review developed screens for design consistency.
● Use user feedback, competitor research and available data to continuously improve both the customer-facing website and internal applications.
Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive web/mobile design.
● Proficiency in Figma, wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity UI design.
● Good understanding of user journeys, information architecture, usability and interaction design.
● Experience designing dashboards, forms, tables and internal applications.
● Ability to build and maintain design systems and reusable components.
● Strong visual design sense with attention to layout, typography and detail.
● Ability to simplify complex workflows and solve user experience problems.
● Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
● 2 to 4 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design.
● Experience in ecommerce, retail, home improvement or marketplace platforms is preferred.
● Exposure to SaaS, CRM, ERP or internal business application design will be an advantage.
Tools
● Strong proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
● Experience with FigJam or similar collaboration tools.
● Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development constraints is an advantage.
● Familiarity with analytics, heatmaps/session recording and AI-assisted design tools is preferred.

● User flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
● Dashboard or internal application design
● Design systems and reusable components
● Case studies that demonstrate problem-solving, UX thinking and final outcomes Preference will be given to portfolios that show strong UX process and decision-making, not just visual design.
