UX Designer

Your impact:
As a UX Designer at Heartstream, you will help shape the user experience of life-saving medical technologies used by healthcare professionals, emergency responders, and patients worldwide. Your work will directly influence how users interact with critical medical devices and digital healthcare solutions, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and effective in high-pressure environments.
In this role, you will conduct user research, generate insights, and translate complex requirements into meaningful design solutions. Working across the full design lifecycle, you will create wireframes, prototypes, and user-centered experiences that improve usability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including Product Management, Engineering, Clinical and Domain Experts, Marketing, Human Factors specialists, and other designers to develop innovative solutions that meet user needs while supporting business objectives.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and interaction concepts that effectively communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, user-centered solutions.
- Apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex healthcare challenges.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across the organization.

You'll thrive in the role if:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related design discipline. Core design education is essential.
- You've acquired 2+ years of experience in User Experience Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, User Research, Information Architecture, Usability Testing, or a related field including evidence of taking at least one concept into development.
- Experience within MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharma environments
- Your skills include:
