Role Description The Travel Agent Process Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for supporting end-to-end travel services for customers. In this role, the associate handles travel reservations across flights, hotels, and related services, ensuring accurate and timely booking in accordance with customer preferences and policies. Daily tasks include managing customer inquiries, providing itinerary options, handling changes or cancellations, and coordinating car rentals and other ancillary services. The role involves promoting suitable travel solutions, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, and maintaining detailed records in relevant systems. The associate collaborates with team members and supervisors to meet service-level targets, adhere to quality standards, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage travel reservations and travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and related services.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience with car rental bookings and coordinating ancillary travel services.
- Foundational sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate options, and support cross-selling and up-selling.
- Comfort with using travel booking tools, CRM systems, and standard office software.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by business needs.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, BPO, or customer support environment is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality, tourism, or business is an advantage.
