Role Description This is a full-time, on-site TGT Science Teacher (Grade -8 Science & Grade -9 - Chemistry) role based at Gangotri International School in Gondal. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with CBSE curriculum requirements, with a focus on subjects such as Physics and integrated science concepts. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, maintaining academic records, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves organizing practical activities and experiments, managing classroom discipline, supporting co-curricular programs, and collaborating with colleagues and school leadership to enhance overall student learning. Participation in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development activities is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Science Education with the ability to teach middle and secondary-level science concepts effectively.
- Subject knowledge and teaching competence in Chemistry and related scientific disciplines.
- Comfort with Mathematics relevant to school-level science and problem-solving.
- Recognized as a Qualified Teacher with appropriate teaching credentials and training.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, instructional design, and classroom delivery aligned with CBSE standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (B.Ed preferred).
- Effective classroom management, communication, and student engagement skills.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and assessment tools to support learning.
- Previous experience teaching in a CBSE school or similar environment is an advantage.
