Role Description The Computer Teacher will deliver engaging classroom instruction in computer science and related subjects to students across appropriate grade levels. This full-time, on-site role in Chakradharpur includes planning and implementing curriculum-aligned lessons, designing practical lab activities, and introducing learners to programming concepts and digital literacy. The teacher will assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other faculty members, participating in school events, integrating technology into broader learning initiatives, and supporting students in responsible and safe use of technology.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Computer Science and practical experience with core computer applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Programming and the ability to teach foundational coding concepts to different age groups.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and interact effectively with students, guardians, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess experience in Curriculum Development and Teaching, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to create an inclusive, student-centered classroom environment and adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
- Comfort with educational technology tools, learning management systems, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Prior school teaching experience and familiarity with CBSE or similar curricula will be considered an advantage.
