Role Description The Drama Teacher will design and deliver engaging drama and performing arts lessons for students across relevant grade levels. This full-time, on-site role in Gondal involves planning and implementing a drama curriculum, directing school plays and performances, and organizing rehearsals and co-curricular activities. The Drama Teacher will guide students in acting techniques, voice modulation, stage presence, and creative expression, while fostering confidence, collaboration, and respect in the classroom. The role includes assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining classroom discipline, and collaborating with other teachers and school leadership to integrate performing arts into the broader academic program.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Drama and Performing Arts, including practical stage experience and knowledge of theatre practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Teaching Acting, with the ability to instruct students of varied ages and abilities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, activities, and assessment methods for drama education.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Theatre, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching drama or leading school/college theatre productions is highly beneficial.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor students.
