Role Description The Tendering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing end-to-end tender and bidding processes for industrial piping products and solutions. Daily activities include identifying relevant tenders, reviewing tender documents, coordinating clarifications, and preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements and company capabilities. The role involves close collaboration with sales, procurement, engineering, and finance teams to gather accurate pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance information. The Tendering Specialist will track tender status, maintain bid documentation, support negotiation and contract finalization, and update internal systems with tender outcomes. This role contributes directly to business growth by ensuring competitive, compliant, and timely submissions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong tender management skills, including tender identification, evaluation, coordination, and submission.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret technical specifications, pricing structures, and commercial terms.
- Candidates should possess communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and correspond professionally with clients and authorities.
- Candidates should possess proposal writing skills to prepare clear, accurate, and compliant technical and commercial offers.
- Candidates should possess procurement-related skills to coordinate vendor quotes, cost estimates, and material availability for tender responses.
- Relevant experience in industrial products, piping, or engineering-based manufacturing (oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar sectors) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, or a related field is beneficial; professional experience in tendering and contracts is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), attention to detail, and the ability to work to strict deadlines are expected.
