Role Description The GeM and Government Tender Executive will manage end-to-end activities related to Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other government tender portals in a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Daily responsibilities include identifying relevant tenders, reviewing eligibility criteria, preparing and submitting bids, and tracking tender status and timelines. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for documentation, pricing, and technical specifications, while ensuring compliance with government procurement guidelines and company policies. The executive will maintain updated records of tenders, contracts, and communications, and support post-award processes such as order processing, invoicing, and follow-up with government departments. Regular interaction with public sector clients and local government bodies is required to build strong relationships and support the company’s growth in the healthcare and assistive devices market.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Government Relations and Local Government processes to effectively engage with relevant authorities and departments.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact with public sector clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to evaluate tender requirements, assess feasibility, and prepare competitive bids and pricing proposals.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of the Public Sector procurement environment, including GeM and other government tender platforms.
- Relevant experience in government tender management, vendor registration, and bid documentation, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or related fields.
- Ability to work with MS Office and online tender portals, with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, public administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, integrity in handling documentation, and readiness to work on-site within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
