At Yogesh Group (Yogesh Commercial Pvt. Ltd.), salt is at the foundational core of our 55+ year heritage. As we scale our manufacturing, processing, and export infrastructure to the Gulf region, we are hiring on high priority a specialized Technical Head / Product Head – Salt.
We are looking for a deep domain specialist—someone who understands salt not just as a trading commodity, but at a fundamental chemical, technical, and processing level.
📍 Key Role Details:
Location: New Delhi Office (Corporate HQ, Connaught Place).
Compensation: Executive Package with 30% hike on last drawn CTC + ESOPs / Executive Equity Incentive Options.
🎯 Key Responsibilities & Technical Scope:
Salt as a Chemical & Industrial Commodity:
Chemical & Industrial Applications: Technical mastery over salt as a chemical feedstock (NaCl) for Chlor-Alkali industries, soda ash production, chemical processing, water treatment, and high-purity industrial grades.
Edible & Consumable Salt: Technical oversight on refining, iodization, purity control, moisture parameters, free-flowing agents, and food safety standards (domestic FSSAI & international Gulf standards).
Value-Added & Specialty Variants: Formulate and commercialize premium, specialty, and value-added chemical/salt formulations (fortified salts, industrial blends, low-sodium, and high-purity variants).
Techno-Commercial Sourcing & Quality Architecture:
Define technical parameters for raw salt procurement, salt field extraction, and chemical refining to ensure optimal chemical yield.
Evaluate technical feasibility, lab testing standards, purity thresholds, and packaging integrity for export compliance.
Bridge technical chemical specifications with commercial execution to maximize product margins and meet strict client B2B/export specs.
👤 Candidate Profile & Requirements
Experience: 15 to 20+ years of deep, technical experience in salt chemistry, salt refining technology, chlor-alkali feedstock, or techno-commercial product management in the salt/chemical domain.
Background: Strong preference for technical experts with top-tier MNC or Chemical Conglomerate experience (Chemical Engineering / R&D background).
Core Competencies: Salt chemistry, chemical processing, refining technology, quality standards, and techno-commercial evaluation.
