HEAD – DESIGN & BUILD
Own the Business. Shape the Delivery Engine. Build the Next Phase of Growth.
Location: Delhi NCR or Bengaluru or Mumbai
Coverage: Pan India
THE OPPORTUNITY
- This is a leadership role at the intersection of business, design, construction, clients and commercial outcomes.
- As Head Design & Build, you will own the P&L, delivery performance, client relationships and operational scale-up of the business.
- You will lead a high-performing national organisation responsible for delivering some of India's most progressive workplaces from concept and design through execution and handover.
We are looking for someone who can think like an entrepreneur, operate like a business owner and deliver like a seasoned D&B professional.

THE LEADERSHIP PROFILE
We are particularly interested in leaders who are:
- BUSINESS OWNERS-You naturally think about revenue, margin, cash, growth and customer value — not just project completion.
- CLIENT LEADERS-You are comfortable sitting across the table from a CEO, promoter, workplace head or real estate leader and building long-term relationships.
- BUILDERS-You have built teams, systems, processes and businesses not simply inherited them.
- COMMERCIAL THINKERS-You understand that great delivery without commercial discipline is not great business.
- CHANGE LEADERS-You enjoy transforming organisations, challenging conventional ways of working and building scalable operating models.
- HIGH-OWNERSHIP LEADERS-You are comfortable making decisions, taking accountability and operating in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
You should bring:
- 18–25+ years of experience in Design & Build, commercial interiors, construction, workplace or related sectors.
- Proven experience managing large and complex project portfolios.
- Demonstrated P&L / business ownership.
- Strong commercial understanding of pricing, margins, procurement and project economics.
- Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of the complete D&B lifecycle.
- Proven experience engaging with CXO-level clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate comfortably between strategy, clients, commercial decisions and project execution.
- Willingness to travel across India.
