About the role
ole Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a "Sales Executive/ Business Development" in Mumbai. The person will be responsible for managing a sales , developing and implementing sales strategies, account management, and overseeing sales operations.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Team management skills to lead and motivate a sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Handle high-level negotiations, sales planning, and promotion planning.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Preferred Qualification
- NOT MORE than 1 years of total experience
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Other attributes
- A 75% or above marks in all academics
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field will be preferred
- Can work alone with or without team incase of any critical situation
- No reservation of extended working hours, unplanned travel
- Experience in the publishing or media industry is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- A voracious reader
- Non smoker
