Role Description The Senior Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Amartara The Resort in Abu Road. This role is responsible for driving room and event revenue by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event planners. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, conducting sales calls and property visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and following up to close bookings. The Senior Sales Manager will collaborate with operations, front office, and F&B teams to ensure seamless delivery of services aligned with guest expectations, and will monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies. The role also involves forecasting, reporting on sales performance, training junior sales team members, and representing the resort at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality sales, account management, and business development, preferably in hotels or resorts.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing sales, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Ability to develop sales strategies, prepare revenue forecasts, and analyze market and competitor data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to conduct sales pitches and lead client meetings.
- Experience coordinating with operations and events teams to ensure accurate handover of group, MICE, and corporate bookings.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, reservation systems, and standard office software for managing pipelines and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching junior team members and fostering a collaborative sales culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of the regional hospitality market around Abu Road and ability to travel locally for client visits and events.
- High level of integrity, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset, with flexibility to work extended hours when required.
