Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role at Pepage is a full-time, on-site position based in Madhyamgram. This role involves managing the end-to-end merchandising cycle for school uniforms and accessories, including product planning, assortment selection, and inventory coordination. The Senior Merchandiser will analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market data to optimize product offerings and ensure stock availability. Responsibilities include collaborating with production teams, coordinating with school clients on design and specifications, overseeing visual presentation and pricing, and supporting promotional activities. The role also requires monitoring order fulfillment, ensuring quality standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in merchandising processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with school clients, internal teams, and suppliers.
- Customer Service skills to manage client relationships, address concerns, and support repeat business.
- Sales and Retail experience to drive revenue, manage assortments, and optimize in-store and online offerings.
- Marketing knowledge to support promotional campaigns, understand branding needs, and enhance product visibility.
- Experience in merchandising, apparel, or uniform manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic office software and merchandising tools; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
- Relevant diploma or degree in merchandising, fashion, business, or a related field preferred.
