As BetaEdge continues to expand its ERP practice, including our growing Odoo and ERPNext implementation capabilities, we are looking for an experienced ERP professional to lead customer implementations, coordinate delivery teams, and build long-term client relationships.
Role Description
We are looking for a Senior ERP Functional Consultant / Implementation Lead – Odoo & ERPNext to manage end-to-end ERP implementation projects across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will act as the key bridge between the customer, business requirements, functional consultants, developers, and technical teams.
The role includes understanding customer business processes, gathering and validating requirements, designing ERP workflows, configuring Odoo and ERPNext modules, coordinating custom development and integrations, managing implementation timelines, conducting testing and UAT, delivering user training, and supporting successful go-live.
You will work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure every ERP implementation is aligned with the agreed scope, business objectives, timeline, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery and requirement-gathering workshops.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend optimized ERP workflows.
- Translate business requirements into structured functional specifications and development tasks.
- Configure and support Odoo and ERPNext modules across: Finance & Accounting, CRM & Sales, Procurement & Purchasing, Inventory & Warehouse, HR & Payroll, Projects & Timesheets, Service Management, Operations
- Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, SOPs, test cases, and implementation documentation.
- Coordinate with Odoo and ERPNext developers on customizations and technical requirements.
- Manage APIs, third-party integrations, and business automation requirements with technical teams.
- Manage project scope, milestones, priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
- Manage customer feedback and change requests throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Coordinate data migration, validation, reconciliation, and master data preparation.
- Perform functional testing and coordinate system testing.
- Prepare and manage customer UAT.
- Conduct customer demonstrations, workshops, and end-user training.
- Review functional and technical deliverables before production release.
- Coordinate go-live, handover, stabilization, and post-implementation support.
- Troubleshoot functional ERP issues and recommend long-term improvements.
- Maintain strong communication with customers, management, and development teams.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Codex, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to improve documentation, analysis, testing, and implementation productivity while maintaining proper human review and quality control.
- Contribute to BetaEdge ERP templates, implementation methodologies, documentation standards, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience delivering full lifecycle ERP implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo and/or ERPNext.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning concepts and business processes.
- Experience configuring and supporting ERP modules across Finance, Sales, CRM, Procurement, Inventory, HR, Projects, and Operations.
- Strong business process analysis and process-mapping capabilities.
- Ability to convert customer requirements into structured ERP solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-management skills.
- Experience leading implementation projects and coordinating developers, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong client-facing experience with the confidence to lead requirement workshops, demonstrations, UAT sessions, and user training.
- Good understanding of accounting workflows, invoicing, payments, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting within ERP systems.
- Understanding of ERP customizations, APIs, integrations, and third-party applications.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern business application environments.
- Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, functional specifications, workflows, SOPs, and test cases.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
