Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant. The role involves leading end-to-end implementations of Dynamics 365 Business Central, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand business processes, recommend best practices, and translate requirements into functional specifications and system workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting workshops, preparing documentation, coordinating with technical teams for integrations and customizations, and supporting user training and post-go-live stabilization. The role also includes mentoring junior consultants, contributing to project planning, and ensuring solutions are aligned with client objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and support projects for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Conduct customer workshops to understand business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Gap-Fit Analysis, Solution Design Documents, and Functional Specifications.
- Configure and implement Business Central modules based on customer requirements.
- Work closely with technical consultants to ensure successful customization and integration.
- Lead CRP/UAT sessions and obtain customer sign-offs.
- Provide functional guidance during data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Mentor and guide junior functional consultants.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Development, QA, Sales, and Project Management.
- Conduct end-user training and prepare user manuals/documentation.
- Ensure adherence to implementation methodologies and project governance.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central Functional Consulting.
- Experience in leading multiple end-to-end Business Central implementation projects.
- Strong business process understanding across Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Retail.
- Excellent requirement gathering and solution designing capabilities.
- Experience in customer interaction, stakeholder management, and project leadership.
- Good understanding of Business Central standard functionalities and best practices.
- Knowledge of integrations with Microsoft products such as Power BI, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and Azure is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
