Role Description We are looking for an experienced SOC Verification Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SoC/IP verification. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, functional verification, and SoC-level verification methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification plans for complex SoC/IP blocks.
- Develop reusable and scalable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, assertions, and functional coverage.
- Perform block-level, subsystem-level, and SoC-level verification.
- Debug simulation failures and identify root causes of design/verification issues.
- Work closely with RTL Design, Architecture, Emulation, Validation, and Physical Design teams.
- Develop and maintain UVM components, sequences, drivers, monitors, scoreboards, and functional coverage models.
- Analyze coverage results and drive coverage closure.
- Perform regression testing and ensure verification quality and completeness.
- Review specifications and translate them into effective verification strategies.
- Participate in design and verification reviews and contribute to improving verification methodologies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in SoC Verification.
- Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Good understanding of Verilog/SystemVerilog simulation and debugging.
- Strong knowledge of functional verification methodologies.
- Experience with testbench development, assertions, functional/code coverage, and regression.
- Good understanding of SoC architecture and digital design concepts.
- Experience with industry-standard simulators such as VCS, Questa/ModelSim, or Xcelium.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with AMBA protocols – AXI, AHB, APB, ACE/CHI.
- Experience in PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet, or other high-speed interfaces.
- Knowledge of Formal Verification and/or Emulation.
- Experience with SoC-level integration and verification.
- Exposure to low-power verification, CDC/RDC, or power management.
- Experience working on complex ASIC/SoC products.
Education
B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in SoC Verification, SystemVerilog, UVM, C/C++, Python, and complex protocol verification are preferred.
