Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at Mumbai and Pune Division. The Salesperson will identify and engage prospective customers, present products and services, and conduct in-person meetings and demonstrations. Daily responsibilities include managing leads, following up on inquiries, preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and closing sales in line with company targets. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, reporting performance metrics, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer service. The Salesperson will also monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic sales planning.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Solid negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with a results-oriented approach to meeting sales targets.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and other sales-related software; ability to maintain clear and organized records.
- Good understanding of sales processes and market dynamics; prior experience in field sales or business development is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within the Pune Division as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with learning product details in the bio and allied sectors and explaining technical information in simple terms.
