Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The Sales Manager will oversee daily showroom and field sales operations, manage customer interactions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising sales staff, setting and tracking sales targets, coordinating with suppliers and distributors, and maintaining product displays. The role also involves developing local sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and preparing regular sales reports. The Sales Manager will collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and support brand growth in the Delhi/NCR market.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail or showroom sales management, preferably in home furnishings, foam, or bedding products.
- Strong customer relationship skills, including the ability to understand customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Ability to set, monitor, and achieve sales targets, with experience in basic sales forecasting and reporting.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of Hindi or local languages is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems for billing, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Leadership skills to guide, motivate, and train sales staff, while promoting a cooperative and performance-driven work environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ghaziabad, including weekends or extended hours as required by retail business needs.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
