Role Description The Row Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for supporting Right of Way and land acquisition activities for transmission and related infrastructure projects. This position involves field visits, coordination with landowners, local authorities, and internal project teams to facilitate timely clearances and resolve ground-level issues. The Row Executive maintains accurate documentation, prepares reports and updates on ROW status, and helps ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role also includes assisting in route surveys, tracking project milestones, supporting negotiation processes, and escalating risks or obstacles to senior management for resolution. Collaboration with engineering, construction, and consultancy teams is essential to keep projects moving efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Strong field coordination skills, including stakeholder engagement with landowners, local authorities, and project teams.
- Ability to maintain and organize documentation related to ROW, land records, permits, and regulatory clearances.
- Basic understanding of power transmission, infrastructure projects, and land acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital tools for reporting and data tracking.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on conflict resolution and relationship building.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and capacity to work independently in field and office environments.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in varying field conditions as required.
- Preferred educational background: diploma or degree in engineering, management, or a related field; prior experience in ROW, land acquisition, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
