Role Description The HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment used in mining and related activities. Daily tasks include conducting pre- and post-operation inspections, reporting mechanical issues, and coordinating with maintenance teams for timely repairs. The role also requires adhering to safety protocols, following operating procedures, and maintaining accurate activity logs. Collaboration with supervisors, engineers, and other equipment operators is expected to ensure efficient and safe site operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating heavy earthmoving machinery such as excavators, loaders, dumpers, and dozers in mining or construction environments.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical systems, ability to identify equipment faults, and support routine maintenance and servicing activities.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, hazard identification, and compliance with mining and industrial safety standards.
- Ability to read and follow operational instructions, maintain logs and reports, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Prior experience in mining, heavy equipment operations, or industrial settings is highly beneficial.
- Relevant technical training or certification in heavy equipment operation or mechanical trades is preferred.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules in an on-site environment and adapt to changing operational priorities.
