Role Description The Revenue Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for optimizing room revenue and profitability across Pravasa Hotels’ portfolio. This role involves monitoring daily pick-up, occupancy, and rate performance, and adjusting pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies accordingly. The Revenue Manager will manage channel performance, oversee rate loading and parity across OTAs and direct channels, and coordinate promotional offers in alignment with market demand and brand positioning. They will analyze historical data and market trends, prepare revenue forecasts and monthly performance reports, and collaborate with sales, finance, and property teams to align revenue strategies with overall business goals. The role also includes ensuring accurate revenue recognition practices, supporting budgeting and pricing decisions, and contributing to data-driven, guest-centric commercial planning.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed pricing and inventory decisions.
- Revenue management expertise, including demand forecasting, pricing strategy, and channel optimization in hospitality or related sectors.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including revenue recognition and basic financial reporting.
- Experience with hotel revenue systems, PMS/CRS, and OTA extranets; proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or specialized revenue management certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and finance teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with multiple properties and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a Revenue Manager, Assistant Revenue Manager, or in a similar commercial role in hotels or travel is highly preferred.
