Role Description The Retail Store Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the HomeBakers Mart store in Udaipur in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules and performance, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory levels for baking products. The role involves supervising visual merchandising, monitoring sales targets, and implementing in-store promotions and product displays. The Retail Store Manager will handle cash management, basic store accounting, and compliance with company policies. This position also requires coordinating with the central team on stock replenishment, local marketing initiatives, and continuous improvement of store processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong retail operations and store management skills, including staff supervision and daily floor management.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with walk-in customers and business clients.
- Candidates should possess inventory management and basic merchandising skills to manage stock levels and product displays.
- Candidates should possess sales and basic marketing skills to help drive store revenue and support in-store promotions.
- Candidates should possess basic computer and POS system skills for billing, reporting, and coordination with the central team.
- Prior experience in retail, FMCG, or food-related sectors is preferred; familiarity with baking products is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving ability, reliability, and a hands-on approach to working on the shop floor are expected.
- A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or retail management is beneficial.
