Head – Purchase(Api & Formulation) | Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead direct procurement for R&D and plant operations.
- Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, and timely delivery.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, budgets, and procurement compliance.
- Drive cost savings, process improvements, and procurement efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team.
- Analyze market trends and manage supplier/procurement risks.
- Collaborate with R&D, Plant, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
Qualification & Experience:
- Proven experience in Procurement/Purchase/Supply Chain leadership.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.
- Experience in R&D and plant procurement, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Strong analytical, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
