Role Description The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer accounts, and expanding market presence for TIPL’s product portfolio within the assigned region. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing regional sales plans, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, converters, and end customers. The Regional Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing, while coordinating with internal teams for order fulfillment, credit control, and customer support. The role also includes preparing regular sales reports, forecasting, and participating in strategic discussions to improve regional performance.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in B2B sales, account management, and business development within industrial or trading sectors.
- Experience in market analysis, sales planning, and revenue forecasting to support regional growth objectives.
- Proficiency in negotiation, relationship management, and customer service to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage a field-based schedule, and travel within the region as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in pulp, paper, packaging, hygiene products, or related industries is preferred.
