Role Description The Professor of Management will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials in management and related areas to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Daily responsibilities include designing and updating curricula, preparing course materials, supervising student projects and dissertations, and mentoring learners for academic and professional growth. The role also involves conducting independent and collaborative research, publishing in reputable journals, participating in academic committees, and contributing to accreditation and quality assurance processes. The Professor will engage with industry and academic partners to enhance the relevance of programs and support placements and internships. This is a full-time, on-site role located at Chandigarh University’s campus in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Organizational Behavior and related management disciplines, with the ability to teach and mentor students in these areas.
- Proficiency in University Teaching, including course delivery, student assessment, and use of modern pedagogical and digital learning tools.
- Demonstrated experience in Curriculum Development, with the ability to design, revise, and align programs to industry and academic standards.
- Proven Research capabilities, including a record of publications, conference participation, and contribution to funded or collaborative projects.
- Knowledge of Marketing concepts and their application within management programs and industry engagement.
- Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Management or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with a student-centered and inclusive teaching approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development.
- Prior experience in supervising Ph.D. scholars and guiding postgraduate research is highly beneficial.
