Role Description The Product Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on Simpro’s software products and services. Day-to-day activities include understanding product features and workflows, demonstrating solutions to prospective and existing clients, and supporting the sales team with product-related information. The role involves gathering and analyzing customer requirements, providing product recommendations, and coordinating with development and support teams to address client feedback and issues. The Product Specialist will also contribute to product documentation, participate in training sessions for internal teams and clients, and help identify opportunities for product enhancements and upselling.
Qualifications
- Strong product expertise and experience in Product Specialist or similar roles, with the ability to understand technical features and translate them into business value.
- Analytical skills to interpret customer requirements, product usage data, and market trends for informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for client interactions, demos, and documentation.
- Customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and solution-oriented support.
- Sales-related skills such as consultative selling, opportunity identification, and collaboration with sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in software services or SaaS environments, familiarity with QA, data analytics, or hosting solutions is an advantage.
