Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Plant Manager role based in Jaipur. The Plant Manager oversees daily plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and coordination across departments to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output of recovered carbon black. Responsibilities include monitoring process performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. The role involves managing and mentoring plant staff, optimizing equipment utilization and maintenance schedules, and collaborating with procurement, quality, and logistics teams to support reliable supply to customers. The Plant Manager also tracks operational KPIs, prepares reports for leadership, and drives sustainability-focused practices aligned with TeGreens’ circular economy mission.
Qualifications
- Strong plant operations and production management skills, including scheduling, capacity planning, and process optimization.
- Experience with industrial equipment management, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting in a manufacturing or processing environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards, particularly in industrial or recycling operations.
- Proficiency in team leadership, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration within plant settings.
- Ability to analyze operational data, track KPIs, and use digital tools or ERP systems to support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Plant Manager or similar supervisory role in manufacturing, recycling, or materials processing is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to sustainability, circular economy principles, and continuous improvement.
