ABOUT US
SkyHigh Automation Pvt. Ltd. designs and manufactures LT electrical control panels — main LT panels, MCC and
PCC, APFC, feeder pillars and distribution boards — for infrastructure, healthcare, commercial and industrial
projects, using switchgear from Siemens, Schneider, L&T, C&S, BCH, Legrand, HPL, etc.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Factory Manager to take full ownership of our Jaipur manufacturing unit. This is a hands-on,
end-to-end role: running the workshop day to day, being the technical point of contact for clients, preparing
estimates for incoming enquiries, and procuring the switchgear and raw material needed to build panels on
schedule. If you enjoy owning the whole picture rather than a narrow slice of it, this role will suit you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Production & day-to-day operations — Plan and run daily shop-floor operations — job allocation, production
scheduling, wiring and assembly progress, testing and dispatch — so that committed delivery dates are met.
• Client coordination — Act as the technical point of contact for clients and consultants: clarify drawings,
specifications and site queries, handle change requests, and keep the customer informed through the build.
• Estimation & quotations — Read enquiries, drawings and BOQs, build the bill of materials, and prepare
budgetary and firm quotations using current OEM price lists and standard costing.
• Quality & compliance — Ensure panels are built to drawing and to applicable standards (IS/IEC), supervise
routine testing, and maintain build and test records.
• Team & housekeeping — Supervise fitters, wiremen and helpers, manage attendance and output, and
maintain safe and orderly working practices on the floor.
• Reporting — Keep management updated on production status, material position, costs and bottlenecks, and
flag problems early.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical background).
• 4–6 years of experience in LT panel manufacturing, switchgear or electrical contracting, with at least 2 years
in a supervisory or in-charge role.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, GA and wiring drawings, and to build a BOM from them.
• Working knowledge of switchgear — ACBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, capacitors, meters — and of OEM price
lists and discount structures.
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients, consultants and vendors; clear communication in Hindi and English.
• Good working knowledge of Excel for costing, BOMs and inventory.
• Ownership mindset — someone the promoters can hand the unit to and rely on.
• Good to have: experience quoting against tender BOQs or consultant specs; exposure to APFC,
PLC/automation panels or bus ducts; familiarity with ERP or inventory software.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Performance-based annual increments
• Compensation as per experience — benchmarked to the market for the right candidate.
• Overtime pay as applicable
