Role Description The Placement Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end placement activities, including building and maintaining relationships with hiring partners, coordinating campus drives, and matching learners with suitable job opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with companies for openings, scheduling interviews, collecting and tracking placement data, and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders. The Placement Manager will guide learners on interview preparation, resume building, and job search strategies, while collaborating with training teams to align courses with market needs. The role also involves organizing career events, maintaining placement records, and ensuring a smooth experience for both learners and recruiters.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills to work effectively with learners, recruiters, and internal teams.
- Experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or talent acquisition, preferably in an educational or training institute setting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and counseling skills to support learners in career planning and interview readiness.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, and placement tracking tools.
- Knowledge of current job market trends in IT and related domains, and ability to align opportunities with learners’ skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in HR, Business, or Education is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet placement targets ethically and transparently.
