Role Description The Placement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for coordinating placements for learners, including building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring partners and corporate clients. Day-to-day activities include identifying suitable job opportunities, matching candidates to roles, organizing interviews, and tracking placement outcomes. The Placement Manager will collaborate with trainers and academic staff to understand learner profiles, conduct pre-placement sessions, and provide guidance on resumes, interviews, and career planning. The role also involves maintaining placement records, preparing reports, and continuously improving placement processes to achieve higher success rates.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interact effectively with hiring partners and corporate clients.
- Experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to support learners in resume building, interview preparation, and career guidance.
- Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple placement activities, track outcomes, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, academic staff, and operations teams to align placement activities with course outcomes.
- Comfort with using MS Office tools, applicant tracking systems, or basic HR/recruitment platforms for data management and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in an educational institution, training academy, or HR/recruitment firm is an advantage.
