Role Description The Placement Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for facilitating student and alumni placements with relevant industry partners. The role includes building and maintaining relationships with studios, agencies, and companies, coordinating campus interviews, and sharing suitable profiles with recruiters. The Placement Executive will track placement activities, maintain databases, and prepare reports on student outcomes. Day-to-day tasks involve counseling learners on career paths, conducting placement-related workshops, organizing recruitment events, and providing continuous support to ensure successful job transitions. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams to align training outcomes with market requirements is also an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Job Placements, including employer engagement, candidate screening, and coordination of recruitment activities.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for interacting with students, recruiters, and internal teams.
- Customer Service and Training skills to support learners, address queries, and deliver placement readiness sessions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and prepare placement reports and dashboards.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and online job portals; familiarity with CRM or placement management tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, management, or human resources is preferred.
- Experience in placements, counseling, recruitment, or talent acquisition in the education or creative industry is beneficial.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners in building sustainable careers.
