Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support and enhance HR operations and people practices at CRI Limited. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and coordinating performance management and appraisal cycles. The role involves administering HR policies, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and handling employee queries in alignment with company values and compliance requirements. The Assistant Manager Human Resources will collaborate with department heads on workforce planning, training and development activities, and HR reporting to management.
Qualifications
- Strong HR operations and administration skills, including employee records management and HR documentation.
- Experience in recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of performance management, employee engagement, and talent development practices.
- Understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR policies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS or HR management software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate HR qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
