Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in operations management, preferably within the international education or study abroad consultancy sector. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, including workflow planning, process coordination, and resource allocation to ensure smooth delivery of counseling and support services. This role involves coordinating with counseling and admissions teams, monitoring service quality, managing schedules, and implementing standard operating procedures for student support, documentation, and visa processes. The Operations Manager will track operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with leadership to refine processes and enhance the student experience. The role also includes managing office administration, supervising team members, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and supporting the training and onboarding of new staff.
Qualifications
- Strong operations and process management skills, including workflow planning, resource coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in team leadership and people management, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and support cross-functional staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, counselors, and partner institutions.
- Proficiency in organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Comfort with using office productivity tools and CRM or student management systems to track activities and outcomes.
- Prior experience in education consulting, overseas education, or related service-oriented sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, education, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi and maintain a student-centered, ethical, and service-driven approach to operations.
