Reports To: Nursing In-charge / Nursing Superintendent
Salary Budget: 25-35K CTC/Month
Location: Vibrant Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram
To provide safe, compassionate and effective nursing care to patients admitted in the Obs & Gynae Ward and General Ward, maintain proper nursing documentation, assist doctors during procedures, and ensure compliance with Hospital policies, nursing protocols and patient-safety standards.
- Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide complete nursing care to patients admitted in the Obs & Gynae Ward and General Ward.
- Receive patients, perform initial nursing assessment and record vital signs including BP, pulse, temperature and SpO₂.
- Monitor patients regularly and immediately report any abnormal or critical findings to the treating doctor/Nursing In-charge.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids and other treatments strictly as prescribed by the treating doctor and as per Hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, vital charts, intake-output records and other required documentation.
- Assist Gynecologists during antenatal, postnatal and gynecological patient care.
- Provide nursing support to pregnant patients during admission, labour-related care, pre- and post-procedure care and post-delivery monitoring as assigned.
- Assist during Normal Delivery, LSCS, MTP and other gynecology-related procedures as directed and within the scope of nursing duties.
- Ensure proper preparation of patients for procedures, investigations, surgery and discharge.
- Provide post-operative and post-procedure nursing care and monitor patients for complications.
- Maintain proper care and monitoring of newborns/infants as assigned in the Obs & Gynae area.
- Monitor postnatal mothers and report any abnormal bleeding, pain, fever, BP changes or other concerning findings promptly.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate politely and professionally with patients and attendants and provide basic nursing guidance as instructed.
- Ensure proper shift handover of patient status, ongoing treatment, pending investigations and other important information.
- Maintain cleanliness and infection-control practices, including proper hand hygiene, PPE use and biomedical waste segregation.
- Ensure availability of required nursing equipment, emergency medicines and consumables and report shortages to the Nursing In-charge.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide immediate nursing support as per Hospital protocol.
- Support doctors and other healthcare professionals whenever required.
- Perform any other nursing or patient-care responsibilities assigned by the Nursing In-charge, Nursing Superintendent or Management from time to time.
