Role Description The Registered Nurse role at NexFLY Global Ventures is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This role includes coordinating with physicians, allied health professionals, and international care teams to support patient treatment plans and ensure continuity of care for medical travelers. The nurse will educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care, while promoting safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols. The position also involves supporting pre-travel and post-treatment processes, assisting with patient queries, and contributing to a compassionate, culturally sensitive care environment.
Qualifications
- Clinical care skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Strong knowledge of nursing protocols, infection control practices, and documentation standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including international partners.
- Competence in patient education, discharge planning, and counseling on treatment and follow-up care.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple patients, coordination tasks, and detailed records.
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid nursing license/registration as per local regulations.
- Experience in hospital or clinical settings; exposure to medical tourism or international patient services is an advantage.
- Comfort working with diverse populations and sensitivity to different cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health records and communication tools.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays, as required by patient care needs.
