CR International has manufactured apparel, accessories, and home décor for international fashion houses since 1987. Our work centres on hand embroidery, sustainable fabrics, and the kind of finishing detail that holds up under a designer's eye.
The role
Own a set of buyer accounts from enquiry through shipment. You sit between international buyers and the factory floor and are responsible for both sides understanding each other correctly, on time.
What you will do
- Manage assigned accounts end to end: development, costing, order confirmation, production follow-up, dispatch
- Prepare and negotiate cost sheets. Calculate fabric and trim consumption accurately
- Drive the sampling cycle from proto through top-of-production and chase approvals to closure
- Maintain the Time and Action calendar for every order. Escalate slippage early
- Follow up fabric, trims, and embroidery inputs with internal units and external vendors
- Coordinate daily with sampling, embroidery, production, and quality
- Handle buyer correspondence: tech packs, comments, revisions, status updates
What we are looking for
- 3 to 5 years merchandising in a garment export house
- Degree or diploma in fashion or apparel, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong written and spoken English for direct correspondence with overseas buyers
- Working knowledge of fabric, garment construction, and embroidery
- Confident with Excel: cost sheets, consumption, order trackers
- The temperament to chase people without irritating them, and to deliver bad news early
