Coral Concept Store is a women’s multibrand fashion boutique based in Kolkata, offering a curated selection of luxury, premium, and homegrown Indian fashion and accessories from brands and designers across India.
Role Description
We are looking for a Fashion Consultant & Merchandiser to join our team full-time, on-site. The role combines personalised styling, customer experience, visual merchandising, inventory management, and brand coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised styling advice and assist customers in selecting outfits and accessories.
- Deliver a premium customer experience, build strong client relationships, and support sales through proactive engagement and follow-up.
- Maintain strong knowledge of our brands, products, collections, and current fashion trends.
- Manage visual merchandising, including product placement, displays, new arrivals, seasonal changes, and overall store presentation.
- Monitor inventory and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organised, and visually up to date.
- Coordinate with brands and vendors on new collections, seasonal launches, replenishment, deliveries, and stock movement.
- Assist with onboarding new brands and collections.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing stock is accurately received, tallied, packed, and maintained.
- Track sales and inventory trends and share customer and product feedback with management.
- Respond to customer enquiries through online channels and support promotions, launches, and in-store brand initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fashion retail, boutique retail, styling, or merchandising.
- Strong interest and knowledge of women’s fashion, styling, brands, and trends.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong eye for visual merchandising and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with brands, vendors, and customers.
- Fluent in English.
- Proactive, organised, and commercially minded.
