Role Description The Assistant Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role involves supporting the merchandising team in planning collections, coordinating product assortments, and monitoring inventory levels across retail and wholesale channels. The Assistant Merchandiser will assist in analyzing sales data, tracking customer preferences, and preparing reports to guide buying and marketing decisions. Daily responsibilities include liaising with design, production, and retail teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate product information, and consistent visual presentation. The role also includes helping with showroom setup, supporting client interactions, and contributing to promotional activities aligned with brand goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of prior fashion or retail experience is preferred.
- Strong Communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Customer Service and Retail skills to support store teams and enhance the in-store client experience.
- Sales skills to understand performance metrics, assist in order follow-ups, and support revenue objectives.
- Marketing skills to collaborate on product launches, visual merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with spreadsheets or merchandising tools.
- Interest in fashion, sustainability, and Indian craft traditions;
