Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Sales Representative role based in the Pune Division. The Medical Sales Representative will promote and sell the company’s medicines and healthcare products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies within an assigned territory. Daily responsibilities include visiting clients, presenting product information, answering queries, and providing follow-up support to build strong, long-term relationships. The role involves achieving sales targets, monitoring market trends, gathering feedback from customers, and reporting sales activities to management. The Medical Sales Representative will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely supply, resolve customer issues, and maintain accurate records of calls, orders, and account information.
Qualifications
- Strong Medical Sales skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, present products effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging with healthcare professionals, explaining product benefits, and delivering clear, accurate information.
- Customer Service capabilities to build and maintain professional relationships, handle inquiries, and provide responsive support.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine and Pharmacy to understand therapeutic areas, product indications, dosage, and safety information.
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, preferably in General Care, Pain Management, Gynecology, Dermatology, or Neuro-Psychiatry segments.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, ideally in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and maintain organized documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools, with a valid driving license for local travel within the Pune Division.
